We strive to deliver an exceptional service and make every tour both a fun and educational day for our guests. Our goal is to create memories that will last a lifetime.

The NapSac Story
We could pretend we got into wine tours purely for business reasons. Fact is, we just really, really love good times and great wines. And road trips. And sharing both with people who appreciate a good story — preferably told somewhere between the second and third tasting.
NapSac Wine Tours was born out of one man's pivot from plating food for presidents to pouring Pinot in the foothills. That man is our founder, Paul Arnold.
Paul grew up in the UK (which, to be fair, isn't exactly wine country), but from the moment he landed in the States, he was chasing something bigger. He cut his teeth at small bistro cafes in Folsom, then worked his way up through some of San Francisco's most celebrated Michelin-starred restaurants — the kind of places where the napkins are folded into swans and the guest list includes heads of state, tech titans, and a few celebrities you'd definitely recognize. Yes, Paul has served President Obama. No, we won't stop mentioning that.
Then 2020 happened. Like a lot of us, Paul found himself with a rare and slightly unwanted gift: time to think. He traded the Bay Area buzz for Sacramento's sunshine, leaned hard into his love of wine, travel, and the great outdoors — and NapSac Wine Tours went from "interesting idea" to "wait, let's actually do this."
Paul was a few years into developing the business when serendipity did its thing, bringing him together with veteran madman Boenobo Zjo — a seasoned marketing pathfinder in the advertising, high tech, and entertainment worlds — in Las Vegas. Combining forces, they've been conjuring a decidely fresh approach to the wine tour phenomenon since.
Today, we design tours that take you deep into the heart of California wine country — the rolling vineyards, the family-run estates, the hidden gems that don't show up on the first page of Google. Our guides (led by Paul himself) are equal parts knowledgeable and enthusiastic, which is a nice way of saying they will absolutely geek out about terroir with you if you let them.
Whether you're a seasoned sommelier or someone who just learned how to say "Chardonnay" correctly, you belong on this tour. We'll handle the itinerary, the expertise, and the snacks. You just bring your curiosity — and maybe a light jacket.
